Nexzentek is seeking a seasoned Informatica ETL/Data Engineer for a 12-month hybrid engagement in Austin, TX. The role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions with hands-on experience in Snowflake and Informatica PowerCenter.

Candidates should have strong SDLC experience, data ingestion expertise, and the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable data engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in designing, developing and supporting enterprise data integration solutions.
• Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, ETL workflows and data ingestion.
• Ability to analyze requirements and optimize data processing within SDLC.
• Experience with batch scheduling and performance tuning in large environments.

Responsibilities

Required Skills:

• Informatica ETL/Data Engineer with 12+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions.
• Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, ETL workflows, data ingestion from diverse source systems, and production support.
• Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
• Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports.
• Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, Informatica Power center, source-to-target mapping, data quality management, performance optimization, and batch job scheduling in large enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with experience working in structured SDLC environments, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable data engineering solutions.
