Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking a Lead eSTARR Information Technology Engineer to direct the architecture, integration, and sustainment of high-speed data acquisition and real-time visualization pipelines at AEDC, Arnold Air Force Base, TN.

You will bridge hardware, HPC, and enterprise software, lead a multidisciplinary team, and coordinate with test operations, government stakeholders, and contractors. Willingness to work occasional after-hours during urgent cycles is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, information systems, or cybersecurity.
• 8+ years designing, implementing, integrating, or sustaining IT systems with real-time data acquisition, processing, or distribution.
• 3+ years as a technical lead or equivalent with direction/responsibility across stakeholders.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD security clearance and US citizenship.
• AEDC access requirements apply; DoD environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end architecture, capacity planning, and technical roadmap of the eSTARR platform across multi-facility test environments.
• Architect low-latency, deterministic data ingestion pipelines for high sample rates.
• Coordinate integration of eSTARR feeds with real-time display systems and test workstations across Linux/Windows/embedded platforms.
• Oversee cybersecurity controls, RMF activities, and secure data redistribution.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and coordinate with project managers, test operations, and contractors.
