Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead the development of the data architecture practice, establish models and standards, and guide teams in semantic data taxonomies and data flows across the organization.

This role oversees governance, metadata and reference data management, and the creation of reference architectures, focusing on AI and cloud technologies within financial services environments.

Qualifications

• TOGAF certification or equivalent enterprise architecture experience.
• Experience in large, complex enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with both operational and analytical data platforms.
• 8+ years of experience in financial services organizations with AI and Cloud technologies.
• Personal skills: Communication, Relationship Building, Collaboration, Influencing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key data and technology stakeholders to build out the enterprise data architecture practice.
• Establish data architecture models and standards.
• Guide teams to build out semantic and object standards for data taxonomies, models, flows, and diagrams.
• Produce and maintain enterprise data architecture artifacts and support governance.
• Create data reference architectures and document data flows.
• Lead development of data modeling standards, best practices, and guidelines.
• Oversee metadata, master data, and reference data management.
• Measure progress against objectives with follow-up.
