A technology solutions provider is seeking a Lead Applications Enterprise Architect to drive AI readiness by modernizing cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include leading migrations from legacy architectures to cloud-native solutions and designing high-performance systems for digital services. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in software architecture, with strong skills in Java/Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. This role involves ensuring high availability and implementing innovative solutions that leverage modern technologies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Software/Enterprise Architecture, 5+ years leading large-scale modernization programs.
• Mastery of Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, or Go, plus modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue).
• Hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, focusing on PaaS and Serverless offerings.
• Deep knowledge of Microservices, EDA, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and API-First design.
• Proficiency in Terraform/Pulumi, Docker, and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Familiarity with COBOL, SOAP, old-school RDBMS (Oracle/DB2), and ESB patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration from legacy architectures to modern cloud-native planes.
• Identify redundant systems and consolidate application footprints.
• Architect integration layers for legacy systems to coexist with microservices.
• Design high-throughput event-driven systems using asynchronous patterns.
• Establish standardized chassis for microservices ensuring security and discovery.
• Architect for multi-region high availability using active-active setups.
