- Option A: Advanced degree (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering, or Masters in Strategic Information & Cyberspace Studies (NDU CIC); OR
- Option B: Completion of military training in Enterprise Architect (Advanced) Credential / Playlist, M02D2M2 (Cyber NETOPS Eng), M093861 (Data Systems Engineering Officer), M09CVM1 (Network Engineering Officer), or M09DRX1 (MAGTF Communications Planner); OR
- Option C: Active certification as CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP or ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GCSA, or GICSP; OR
- Option D: Experience alternative.

Job Description
- Develops and maintains business, systems, and information processes to support enterprise mission needs; develops IT rules and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures.
- Provides enterprise architecture and digital transformation support for MBSE, information architecture, network/system/application integration, resiliency planning, emerging technology recommendations, and technical work planning.
- Support employment of management systems aligned with DoD Management Philosophy of continuous process improvement to deliver information & products.
- Remain knowledgeable in customer mission areas, application/solution development, network properties, Government policies and standards, and emerging hardware/software products in compliance with Army/DoD standards and policies.
- Maintain specialized knowledge in the following areas: data management, cybersecurity, network properties, security, acquisition, logistics, and technology programs related to aviation and missile systems, and functional, technical, and business process environments of supported customers.
- Support development & delivery of comprehensive voice, data, and video services solutions across all networks & systems, including enterprise network, classified network, and associated applications, interfaces, and devices spanning approximately 20 facilities.
- Implement cutting-edge mission network solutions leveraging voice, data, and video technologies across classified and unclassified networks, as well as standalone systems; apply industry best practices and standards to ensure robust mission network support; ensure network management for mission telecommunication networks (e.g., LANs) utilizes state-of-the-art techniques and protocols, adhering to industry standards, security regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Assist in mission network planning & architecture development and policy development; create technical methodologies to ensure network interoperability, supporting enterprise technology solutions & global mission users; evaluate, recommend, and implement solutions as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state-of-the-art hardware, software, and solution sets to provide innovative recommendations and solutions.
- Provide advice and assistance to higher headquarters in implementing new systems and/or updates to standard systems being installed; collaborate with higher headquarters for analysis, design, and recommendations.
- Perform analysis, design, implementation, sustainment and retirement activities in compliance with existing software development standards; participate in work groups and meetings to address application development administration activities.
- Perform activities, make recommendations, and provide advice used for development of plans, processes and procedures to ensure a resilient infrastructure which minimizes impacts of events with potential to disrupt mission-essential functions by identifying and mitigating threats, vulnerabilities and risks; conduct risk management, contingency, and continuity planning activities and implement them in a comprehensive manner across all Enterprises; provide Business Impact Analysis (BIA) recommendations to determine overall system security impact level based upon the security objectives, which include confidentiality, integrity, and availability; recommend contingency strategies based on impact levels of the security levels.
- Provide advice & recommendations in development, distribution, execution, testing, and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans to ensure uninterrupted execution of essential missions and functions; identify & direct development of mission applications that meet DoD standards for Disaster Recovery (DR) and provide advice & recommendations for development of DR plans.
