Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Project Leader to drive the delivery of engineering work packages, ensuring objectives are achieved on cost, timeline, and quality. You will coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders, track schedules and budgets, and mitigate risks to maintain commitments.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years in engineering services, consulting, or technical services, with preference for aerospace, automotive, rail, or manufacturing

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in engineering services, consulting, or technical services.
• Experience delivering work packages with cost, schedule, and quality responsibility.
• Knowledge of engagement models and project delivery methodologies.
• Experience leading projects without managing a work or business unit.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, rail, industrial, or manufacturing sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing the delivery of engineering work packages, ensuring objectives are met on cost, schedule, and quality.
• Leading project execution activities while coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Tracking schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
• Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation plans to maintain delivery commitments.
• Serving as the primary contact for project communications with customers and teams.
• Applying engagement models to support customer expectations and business objectives.
• Driving accountability and ownership for project deliverables and commitments.
• Facilitating collaboration across engineering and support teams to ensure outcomes.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.
• Building strong customer and stakeholder relationships through effective communication and leadership.
