Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a Lead Engineer, Technology Infrastructure Lead to design and operate cloud infrastructure in a hybrid Saint Petersburg, FL environment. The role focuses on Terraform-based AWS deployments, IaC, and automation using Python scripts and pipelines.

You will lead cloud projects, mentor teammates, and collaborate with development teams while ensuring security controls and multi-account governance. A strong Linux background and DevOps experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in engineering or related roles.
• Experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu/Red Hat/CentOS).
• 4+ years building AWS infrastructure with Terraform/CloudFormation.

Responsibilities

• Develop AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Run and maintain Jenkins and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Terraform libraries for AWS resources.
• Create IAM Identity Center permission sets and policies with Terraform.
