Job summary

Salesforce.com, inc. is seeking a Release Manager for Regrello to oversee the software release lifecycle, bridging development and operations to deliver updates and features on the Salesforce platform.

The role includes owning release quality, weekly hotfixes, major release scheduling, and managing deployments in Hyperforce and Falcon environments, ensuring environments stay in sync and governance is upheld.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
  • Advanced scripting to drive automation (Python, Bash, Shell, JavaScript).
  • 5+ years in Release Management, DevOps, or software engineering in enterprise B2B SaaS.
  • Hands-on with Hyperforce and Falcon deployment architectures.
  • Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform and best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, and automated deployment workflows.
  • Ability to manage complex release cycles and coordinate multiple teams.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting status to diverse audiences.
  • Operational rigor in release backlog management and quality/risk focus.

  • Governance & Compliance: Enforce deployment governance and CI/CD improvements.
  • Communication: Provide status updates and maintain release notes and docs.
  • Build and ship high‑quality software using modern engineering practices and AI tooling.
  • Design AI-enabled systems and shared design context for reliable AI operation.
  • Critically evaluate code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.

Job Summary

A Release Manager for Regrello will manage the software release lifecycle, acting as the bridge between development and operations to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of updates and new features on the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities
  • Release Quality Control: Push back on releases that are not meeting quality standards and communicate why.
  • Release Execution & Hotfixes: Own the execution and coordination of weekly hotfixes, serving as the primary lead for critical updates and bug fixes.
  • Major Release Management: Own the end-to-end schedule and logistics for major feature releases, keeping stakeholders aligned and ensuring business‑critical systems remain stable.
  • Infrastructure & Deployment: Manage and monitor deployments within Hyperforce and Falcon environments, upholding high reliability and performance standards.
  • Environment Syncing: Ensure development, testing, staging, and production environments stay in sync across the release pipeline.
  • Version Control & Collaboration: Maintain version control systems to track changes, manage code merges, and resolve conflicts, preserving codebase integrity.
  • Governance & Compliance: Enforce governance policies for deployment compliance and identify opportunities for CI/CD process improvements.
  • Communication: Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, prepare release notes, and keep deployment documentation accurate and current.
  • Build and ship high‑quality, production‑grade software using modern engineering practices, integrating AI tools to deliver secure, optimized, and high‑quality code.
  • Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows, driving efficiency and innovation at scale.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a shared system context repository of designs, constraints, and standards to enable accurate and reliable AI operation.
  • Critically evaluate code—human or AI‑generated—for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
  • Strong technical skills with advanced scripting expertise (Python, Bash, Shell, JavaScript) to drive automation and troubleshooting.
  • 5+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, or Software Engineering within enterprise B2B SaaS environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with Hyperforce and Falcon deployment architectures.
  • Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform, its capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and automated deployment workflows.
  • Ability to manage complex release cycles, coordinate multiple teams, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills for presenting technical status to diverse audiences.
  • Operational rigor: consistency in managing release backlogs, executing delivery with a focus on quality and risk mitigation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce platform ecosystem (APIs, platform services).
  • Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certifications.
  • Specialized certifications in Salesforce DevOps or CI/CD fundamentals.
  • Experience leading broad technical project management initiatives beyond standard release cycles.
  • Demonstrated AI‑first engineering mindset, using AI to accelerate development and improve quality.
  • Experience with AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, etc.) in development workflows.
  • Advanced prompt engineering skills, capable of writing precise, structured prompts and cultivating system context for reliable, secure, production‑ready AI outputs.
Compensation

The typical base salary range for this position is $148,500 – $223,900 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range is $178,900 – $246,000 annually. The range represents base salary only; incentives, equity, and benefits are not included.
