Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Houston seeks a Lead Process Engineer to join our site engineering team. You will oversee process MOC/HAZOP signoffs, act as site process technical authority, and drive safe, reliable LNG plant operations.

The role requires a PE license or equivalent, a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, and 10+ years in LNG process engineering, with strong communication skills and hands-on startup experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years as Senior Process Engineer in LNG industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience from conceptual design to startup and troubleshooting.
• Experience with commissioning, start-up and performance testing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of LNG liquefaction equipment.
• Proficient with MS Office and process design software.

Summary

We are seeking a Lead Process Engineer to join our site engineering team in Houston, Texas

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

• Process MOC/HAZOP signoff
• Site process technical authority
• Maintains / responsible for master P&ID redline register and availability to site / operations personnel
• Provides technical input to commissioning activities and planning
• Provides input to weekly site engineering report

Qualifications

Required experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Professional Engineer's (PE) License or equivalent CEng license is preferred.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Senior Process Engineer in the LNG industry.
• Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in all aspects of process engineering from conceptual design, economics, detailed engineering, and plant startup and troubleshooting.
• Commissioning, start-up, and performance testing at project sites is a plus.
• Strong understanding of key equipment involved in LNG liquefaction facilities.
• Possess effective computer skills; Microsoft Office software, and discipline specific software applications: HYSYS, Aspen Plus, etc.
• Skilled in the application of relevant major design codes and standards.
• Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status
