Job summary

Centric Services seeks a Lead Engineer to provide technical leadership for natural gas projects, overseeing design, hydraulic modeling, and permitting under the Senior Manager of Engineering. The Lead Engineer will review designs, mentor engineers, and ensure quality and compliance with Centric standards.

The role requires coordinating with Engineering, Design, Construction, Regulatory, and Project Management teams, while communicating with clients, regulators, and utilities to advance projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• PE license preferred in Texas.
• Experience managing engineering projects from planning through design, permitting, and construction support.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned engineering projects from planning through closeout.
• Design and oversee projects for natural gas facilities and related infrastructure.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, hydraulic models, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate permitting with TxDOT, counties, and utilities and act as contact for agencies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure technical soundness and schedules.
• Review designs and provide mentorship to engineers and designers.
