Target is seeking a Lead Engineer in Cyber AI to anchor cybersecurity initiatives, deliver end-to-end AI-enabled solutions, and act as a force multiplier across teams at our Minnesota location.

You will prototype rapidly with internal customers, guide architecture, evaluate new AI technologies, and help advance security operations, incident response and threat detection through scalable, reliable systems. This role requires 7+ years of software development and a Bachelor's degree.

You create, own and are responsible for ensuring developed solutions and proof of concepts meet functional and non-functional needs. Deliver with a customer mindset. You will need to use your technology acumen to apply and maintain knowledge of current and emerging AI technologies within the specialized cybersecurity domain. Lead and participate in complex construction, automation, and implementation activities, ensuring successful implementation with architectural and operational requirements met.We need an experienced Cybersecurity leader with experience working in security operation centers, incident response, threat detection, and / or cyber threat intelligence. We will look to you to interface with cyber teams on their projects, contribute to requirements, workflows, and designs. Assess whether projects are meeting objectives for rapidly developed proof of concepts to solve problems for our peer teams. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.**About you:** • Demonstrated history of rapid prototyping, development and iterative delivery with tight coordination with internal customers• Software development skills with Python and demonstrated delivery of production solutions• Experience with and passion for AI and ML solutions• Experience with workflow and process automation• Experience in one or more of the following areas of cyber security: security operations, incident response, threat detection, application security, or penetration testing• 4 year degree or equivalent experience • 7+ years of software development experience with at least one full cycle implementation • Demonstrates strong domain-specific knowledge regarding Target’s technology capabilities, and key competitors’ products and differentiating features • Demonstrates broad and deep expertise in multiple computer languages and frameworks (e.g., open source).
