Job summary

Amgen is seeking an ETA Senior Engineer - Cleaning & Sterilization Lead to provide engineering leadership for CIP/SIP systems across Amgen's global manufacturing network, focusing on cleaning and sterilization technologies.

The role supports ANC2 capital project with design, construction, commissioning, and start-up, while also offering broad opportunities to improve process reliability, digitalization, and maintenance standards. Travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Engineering experience OR
• Associate’s degree and 8 years Engineering experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Engineering experience OR
• Master’s degree and 2 years of Engineering experience OR
• Doctorate degree

Responsibilities

• Lead CIP/SIP engineering efforts for ANC2 DS Facility Project.
• Design cleaning and sterilization equipment for capital projects.
• Provide CIP/SIP expertise to Operations network.
• Troubleshoot emergent issues and support capital projects.
• Publish and maintain Engineering Standards and Specifications.
• Review performance data and recommend improvements.
• Support development of maintenance standards.
• Translate business needs into engineering solutions.
