Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support substation engineering efforts across a variety of utility and infrastructure projects
• Provide technical oversight and quality control for substation design deliverables
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, helping develop technical and professional skills
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to support workload planning and execution
• Help establish and refine engineering workflows, standards, and best practices
• Serve as a trusted technical and leadership presence within the DFW region

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall engineering experience in power delivery or related fields
• 5+ years of hands‑on substation design experience
• Strong technical foundation across substation physical design and related engineering disciplines
• Prior experience mentoring engineers or acting in a technical lead/ informal supervisory capacity
• Self‑driven, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a growing environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership mindset
• PE highly preferred
