Job summary

Best Buddies International is seeking a Lead, Employment Consultant to coach individuals with IDD through job search, onboarding, and training. You will manage employer relationships, ensure compliance, and guide participants toward sustainable employment.

The role requires travel within the local area, strong presentation skills, and a commitment to Best Buddies’ inclusive mission. State Operations and Programs leads the effort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of professional experience, OR minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Ability to engage with individuals with IDD with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; capable of public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with job searching efforts in local communities.
• Provide onboarding and coaching to foster independent employment.
• Develop relationships with families, counselors, and employers.
• Maintain documentation in SETWorks for compliance and tracking.
• Travel within local area to support participants and events.
