Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Manager of Patient Access. This on-site role oversees ER Registration operations, validates patient access processes, and ensures efficient intake from arrival to discharge.

You will lead a team, set department goals, manage budgets, and partner with physicians and administration to boost patient satisfaction and access performance on day shift (8am-4:30pm), Mon-Fri with alternating on-call weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Admin, Finance or equivalent.
• 4 years of Patient Access experience, including ED/ER.
• 1 year of supervisory/lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops goals and objectives for Patient Access.
• Directs department activities and establishes policies.
• Manages on-site staff and HR related functions.
• Reviews performance and improves workflow for satisfaction.
• Prepares department budget and manages expenses.
• Maintains site accounts receivable and reporting.
• Ensures safety, infection control, and compliance.
