Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field (e.g., electrical, computer, mechanical engineering or related).
• Minimum 5 years in embedded controls development or equivalent areas (hardware, software, calibration, testing).
• Strong initiative, results-oriented, and collaborative skills; capable of leading meetings.
• Experience with root cause analysis.
• Understanding of HIL bench testing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute ideas to innovate how we manage programs and collaborate with product engineering and manufacturing.
• Ensure product development and release plans align with engineering standards for on-time, high-quality delivery of VMEC embedded controls.
• Manage part number proliferation for embedded controllers and associated software/calibration parts.
• Track and report status of work and escalate issues to mitigate timing or quality risk.
• Lead and support product issue investigations, continuous improvement, and lessons learned.
• Support standard meetings related to responsibilities (e.g., execution and agile ceremonies).
• Provide technical leadership and direction for products, and mentor team members.
