Job summary

CHIPTON-ROSS Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer (Level 5) for a contract opportunity in Kent, WA. This position requires at least 5 years of embedded programming experience with languages such as C and C++, as well as knowledge in Linux and hardware-software integration.

The ideal candidate will lead code generation for embedded systems and contribute to the development of hardware solutions within a multi-disciplinary team. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, and the role will operate full-time during the first shift.

Qualifications

• 5+ years embedded programming experience with languages such as C, C++, Linux and/or PetaLinux.
• Experience with hardware-software integration.
• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study.

Responsibilities

• Leads code generation for highly embedded systems.
• Works with multi-disciplinary team to rapidly prototype hardware solutions.
• Responsible for developing code and ensuring proper execution on target processors.
