Job summary

Cloud Hybrid Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain embedded Linux solutions powering drone systems. You will collaborate across robotics, hardware, and cloud teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and safe software for mission-critical applications.

The role demands hands-on development, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with embedded platforms and hardware interfaces.

Qualifications

BSc/BE in Computer Engineering, CS, Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years in embedded Linux development.
Experience with embedded Linux platforms (Jetson/RB5/i.MX or similar).
Kernel modification, module creation, and driver debugging experience.
Familiarity with wireless driver stacks (Wi‑Fi/BT/LTE).
MIPI CSI interfaces, camera sensors, and V4L2 pipeline knowledge.
Proficiency with embedded toolchains, cross-compiling, and kernel/boot-loader customization.
Comfort with hardware prototypes, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

Own Linux kernel CI/CD, cross compilation, and modification pipeline.
Contribute to system software and hardware architecture decisions for scalability and safety.
Integrate software and hardware within embedded Linux systems; modify or write drivers as needed.
Debug, profile, and test systems to ensure performance and reliability.
Collaborate with robotics, hardware, and cloud teams to integrate new features.
