Job summary

National Seating & Mobility seeks a Licensed Elevator Mechanic to lead installation and service of elevators and lifts, mentoring junior team members. You will ensure compliance with state codes and renewals, while coordinating with PM and sales for timely project delivery.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong problem solving, and the ability to work independently in a mixed office/site environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Elevator Mechanic with an active state license and renewal responsibility.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct elevator installation experience.
• Working knowledge of Home Access & Elevator technology and products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary installer for commercial and residential elevators and lifts.
• Attend state site inspections and ensure installations pass inspections.
• Provide routine and preventative service and maintenance.
• Collaborate with project manager and stakeholders to align with drawings and scope.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on-site and ensure licensure readiness.
• Remain current on product, code, and compliance changes in the industry.
• Maintain professional appearance and regular attendance.
