Responsibilities

• Lead Electronics Test team through testing of Combat and Weapons Systems cabling and components on submarines.
• Coordinate 278 manning needs among project Chief Test Engineers.
• Serve as primary contact for testing needs between Chief Test Engineer and Electronics Technicians.
• Interface with engineering, ships' management, quality, trade departments and Navy personnel.
• Lead the team to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule and Process Improvement goals.
• Assign work and provide technical instruction, mentoring and performance assessments.
• Supervise attendance, training, qualifications, discipline and admin actions.
• Verify that procedures and certifications are followed correctly.
• Interface with union leadership to resolve personnel issues.
• Maintain electronic test equipment, calibration schedules, purchasing and maintenance.
