Job summary

Keenfinity, headquartered near Lancaster, PA, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to own the design of electromechanical systems for next‑gen moving camera products. You will act as the technical lead on projects, guiding a small team and making critical architecture and risk decisions.

Responsibilities include developing subsystem architectures that meet performance, cost, reliability, and time‑to‑market goals while collaborating with international suppliers and cross‑functional teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of electromechanical product development experience, including series production.
• Experience designing mechatronic systems integrating mechanical and electronic hardware.
• Experience as a senior engineer, leading junior engineers.
• Strong communication skills to distill complex topics into actionable decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical and electromechanical subsystem design from concept through series production.
• Lead development projects, guiding a small team and driving technical execution.
• Develop subsystem architectures meeting performance, cost, reliability, serviceability, and time-to-market goals.
• Lead cross-functional design reviews and risk assessments (FMEA, Focus Area Matrices).
• Collaborate with international suppliers on tooling development, DFM, and validation.
• Design, model, and validate complex mechanical assemblies; support enclosure and thermal management.
