Job summary

Hawaii Energy Connection, a Pineapple Energy company, seeks a permanent Electrical Journeyman (Hawaii Certified) to join our team. The role focuses on safe, compliant installation of PV solar and battery storage, with responsibilities spanning coordination, problem solving, and collaboration with project planners.

The ideal candidate resides in Hawaii, holds or is pursuing the Hawaii Journeyman Electrician License, and demonstrates a solid understanding of NEC and electrical best practices.

Qualifications

• Reside in Hawaii or plan to relocate to Hawaii.
• Hawaii State Journeyman Electrician License active or pending.
• Solid understanding of NEC and electrical best practices.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, quality workmanship, and cost efficiency on projects.
• Collaborate with installation teams to plan methods and timelines for each system.
• Coordinate with inspectors to ensure code compliance and system expectations.
• Ensure electrical scope meets OSHA, NEC, regulations, and company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and work with stakeholders.
