Volt and Beam is seeking a dependable and experienced Lead Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will lead by example, work independently, and uphold high safety and workmanship standards across residential and commercial projects.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, ability to read blueprints, and mentoring of apprentices. Competitive pay based on experience, with ongoing training and consistent year-round work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical field experience
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on job sites
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Readily install conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, and electrical equipment
• Perform electrical terminations and equipment connections
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes and company standards
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
• Assist in planning and coordinating daily field activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
• Mentor apprentices and assist crew development when needed

Volt and Beam is seeking a dependable and experienced Lead Electrician to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated professional who takes pride in delivering quality work, leads by example, and can work independently while maintaining high safety and workmanship standards.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, with occasional overtime as needed

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities and Duties

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and commercial electrical systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Install conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, and electrical equipment
• Perform electrical terminations and equipment connections
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and company standards
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
• Assist in planning and coordinating daily field activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
• Mentor apprentices and support crew development when needed

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of electrical field experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with troubleshooting and service work

• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
