Job summary

Shore Line Electric LLC is a growing electrical contractor serving commercial, multifamily, residential, and service clients throughout New Jersey. We’re looking for an experienced Lead Electrician who can take ownership of projects, mentor apprentices, and deliver high-quality work.

You’ll work side by side with other Lead Electricians and directly with the owner, who remains actively involved in day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience.
• Experience leading projects or small crews.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• Professional attitude with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and residential electrical projects from rough-in through completion.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Install EMT, PVC, MC cable, Romex, lighting, panels, transformers, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform service work.
• Coordinate work with project managers, customers, and other trades.
• Supervise and mentor apprentices and junior electricians.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code and Shore Line Electric's quality standards.

We're looking for an experienced Lead Electrician who can take ownership of projects, mentor apprentices, and consistently deliver high-quality work. At Shore Line Electric, you won't be left on your own—you'll work side by side with other experienced Lead Electricians and directly with the owner, who remains actively involved in day-to-day operations and field work. RESPONSIBILITIES
