Airswift is seeking an Electrical Wiring Designer to support a major O&G client in Reading, PA. You will provide electrical design and drafting services to the EPC and its customers.

The role includes supervising discipline activities, coordinating junior designers, and ensuring client specifications are met. Experience with SPEL/SPI, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and AVEVA E3D is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in electrical design.
• Experience with SPEL, SPI, AutoCAD and MicroStation; AVEVA E3D is a plus.
• Experience with Smart Plant 3D; participate in 3D model reviews.
• Specialization in detailed drawings for lighting; HV/LV single line diagrams; wiring and control schematic diagrams.
• Cable schedules, cable pulling calculations, cable tray sizing calculations, cable selection & sizing calculations.
• Lighting calculations (using AGI32).

Responsabilités

• Provide electrical design and drafting services to the EPC and its customers.
• Direct discipline team supervision by directing project execution activities and preparing discipline deliverables.
• Oversee the design and drafting of HV and LV electrical installations.
• Direct the work of junior designers and coordinate work sharing to meet client specifications.
• Participate in design reviews with clients and advise on technical design and drafting issues.
• Perform point-to-point reviews on complete electrical design packages.
• Travel to job sites for panel audits and raceway routing.
• Quality Assurance – ensure work aligns with QA procedures.
