Job summary

Schurman Executive Recruiting client seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead end-to-end electrical and automation projects in a warehouse setting from mobilization to commissioning and closeout. You will manage on-site teams, coordinate with customers, subcontractors and internal staff, ensure safety, schedule, budget and quality, and serve as the main on-site point of contact throughout projects.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in site management, construction, or industrial installation.
Experience with automated material handling systems, robotics, or similar technologies, with proven leadership of field teams and subcontractors.
Willingness to travel extensively, averaging approximately 60–90% travel throughout the year depending on project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end site execution for automated material handling projects, from mobilization through commissioning and closeout.
Oversee installation and integration of automated systems including shuttles, conveyors, AS/RS, and robotics.
Manage site schedules, labor, subcontractors, materials, budget, and overall project quality.
Own site safety and compliance, including OSHA standards, daily safety meetings, inspections, and subcontractor adherence.
Serve as the primary customer and on-site leadership contact, coordinating stakeholders, resolving issues, and driving projects through successful commissioning.
