A leading engineering firm in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer/Manager to provide electrical design and engineering for water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience along with strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of power systems. Qualifications

• 15 or more years of relevant experience in heavy industrial electrical engineering and design.
• Licensed as a registered professional engineer in at least one state.
• Experience with instrumentation and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineer on multiple concurrent projects.
• Perform site visits from project conceptual design through construction.
• Prepare project specifications and perform QA/QC reviews.
• Serve as Project Manager for selected electrical projects.
• Monitor field testing and start-up of electrical systems.
