Job summary

Stratas Foods, headquartered with facilities nationwide and a plant in Nashville, TN, seeks a senior Electrical-Mechanical Technician to lead complex maintenance on production equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems and guide junior technicians.

Primary responsibilities include developing preventative maintenance plans, reducing downtime, and driving safety and GMP compliance across the plant.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced experience in troubleshooting PLCs and automation systems.
• Experience developing, writing, and implementing preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Proficiency with advanced diagnostic equipment and maintenance software for analysis.
• Experience leading multiple maintenance projects with timelines and quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead repair, installation, and maintenance of production equipment.
• Identify potential failures or improvements and implement solutions.
• Mentor junior technicians and apprentices on maintenance practices and safety.
• Adhere to GMP standards and safety protocols; maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and reliability teams to improve equipment performance.
