Job summary
Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is seeking an Electrical Inspector to inspect electrical materials, wires, cables, fiber optic cables, and related components for compliance with codes and standards. The role requires thorough knowledge of industry codes, experience inspecting and testing wires and cables, including fiber optics, and the ability to review test reports.
Five years of related inspection experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience inspecting various types of wire, cable, and electrical equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
- Experience inspecting and testing wires and cables, including fiber optic cables.
- Ability to critically review wire and cable test reports from manufacturers.
- Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant inspection experience.
- Experience performing factory inspections.
- Experience witnessing the manufacture and testing of wire and cable.
Responsibilities
- Inspect wires, cables, fiber optic cables, and electrical equipment.
- Review and evaluate manufacturer test reports.
- Perform factory inspections when required.
- Witness manufacturing and testing activities.
- Verify compliance with Authority wire and cable standards.
- Prepare inspection findings and documentation.
