Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to guide electrical design teams, own programmatic cost and schedule, and report Earned Value metrics. The role involves cross-discipline collaboration with systems, mechanical, optical, firmware, and manufacturing engineering to deliver advanced electrical solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in analog/digital circuit design, architecture decisions, and experience with EVMS and BOE development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of related experience or Graduate Degree with 7+ years; otherwise 13+ years
• Defense/aerospace/medical product experience is preferred
• Experience with earned value management is a plus
• Familiarity with SOPs, process control, and standardization of work output required
• Ability to derive specifications and perform requirement flow-down
• Ability to make technically sound architecture decisions
• Experience developing basis of estimate (BOE) for electrical work products
• Experience with Worst Case Circuit analysis and related tools
• Active security clearance (preferred)

Essential Functions:

• Lead and support electrical design teams in the development of new products

• An understanding of mechanical, optical, software / firmware, and digital requirements is considered valuable
