Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer - 3 (SBI) to contribute to cradle-to-grave engineering on multiple launch vehicles including GPI, Antares, Minotaur, and Pegasus. Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering; 5+ years experience or 3 years with Masters.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• U.S. Government Active Secret Clearance at time of application is required.
• Experience with missile systems and associated standards preferred.
• Experience with design, test, and deployment of electrical components or subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Broad understanding and application of electrical engineering standards.
• Prepare and present engineering materials for design reviews.
• Perform qualification, testing, and data review of complex designs.
• Lead test program development and execution.
• Mentor engineers and perform peer reviews.
• Collaborate with IPTs and operations groups.
• Ensure safety is the number one priority.
