At CESO, a Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical assignments utilizing the application of standard engineering design techniques for small to large projects. You will have primary responsibilities that include:


Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead projects / programs from concept through completion
  • Performs calculations, designs advanced building systems, and prepares design documents in coordination with project teams and multiple disciplines
  • Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for conformance to plan documents and project specifications
  • Prepare and modify studies, plans, reports, specifications, and designs for projects
  • Apply local, state, and federal regulations
  • Ensures the production of drawings, specifications, calculations, and other analysis meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements
  • Communicate design requirements with architects, contractors, and equipment manufacturers to determine scope and feasibility
  • Visits project sites to verify existing conditions and/or observe construction progress
  • Attend internal and external meetings
  • Responsible for all junior Engineers under direct supervision and take ownership of the success and ongoing growth of team members
  • Other project duties as assigned
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited college and 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License is required
  • Experience managing an electrical engineering team
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, AEC industry, codes and standards
  • Experience creating and maintaining engineering standards and tools
  • Advanced knowledge in the use of AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Revu, Microsoft Office Suite and other common software
