Job summary

MaineHealth seeks a Clinical Lead EEG Technologist for its Neurology/Neuroscience Services. The role covers the EEG teams at MMC Portland, Scarborough, and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, ensuring high‑quality patient care and consistent clinical standards across locations.

You will mentor staff, support training and competency development, and collaborate with physicians, leaders, and multidisciplinary partners while contributing as a working technologist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology Program.
• Current ABRET credential (R. EEG T.).
• Current BCLS certification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of EEG experience.
• Experience with LTM, EMU operations, or ICU EEG monitoring.
• Proficiency with EEG acquisition systems and neurodiagnostic software.
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EEG teams in Portland and Scarborough and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit with advanced neurodiagnostic expertise.
• Ensure high‑quality patient care and consistent clinical standards across locations.
• Mentor staff, support training and competency development, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary partners.
