Spectrum Center Schools and Programs in California is seeking an Education Program Director to lead the Special Education team, drive instructional excellence, and ensure compliant, high-quality services for students. The role oversees site operations, staff development, enrollment activities, and collaboration with districts, with a focus on scalable outcomes and continuous improvement.

The position offers competitive salary starting at $90,000 to $105,000 based on experience, plus

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher in education or related field.
• Leadership credential with 2+ years’ experience serving students with disabilities.
• PPS credential for school counseling or psychology.
• LCSW, psychology licensure, or related credential.
• Special education credential with 2+ years SPED teaching experience.
• ABA/PBIS knowledge and behavioral supports familiarity.
• Crisis management certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to drive student achievement and operations.
• Recruit, develop and retain a skilled faculty and staff.
• Oversee enrollment processes and district relationships.
• Ensure curriculum fidelity and instructional quality aligned with standards.
• Monitor facilities, safety, staffing and compliance with regulations.
• Direct budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Prepare reports on student progress and program effectiveness.
• Lead accreditation and quality assurance activities.
