Job summary

BrainChip in Laguna Hills, CA is seeking a Senior Product & Test Engineer to lead silicon characterization, validation, production test, and yield improvements for Akida-based products.

You will drive pre-silicon planning through high-volume manufacturing support, collaborate with design, verification, firmware, and systems teams, and develop automated test solutions to improve coverage, yield, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 4+ years in semiconductor product engineering or test.
• Experience bringing ASICs, SoCs, or processors from silicon to production.
• Hands-on post-silicon bring-up, characterization, and production test experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, yield analysis, qualification and reliability.
• Experience with ATE test programs (Advantest/Teradyne) and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own product and test engineering from pre-silicon planning to production release.
• Develop silicon validation, characterization, and production test strategies for AI processors.
• Translate requirements into test plans, coverage, procedures, and solutions.
• Lead post-silicon bring-up and characterize device functionality, power, performance, and reliability.
• Debug issues with multiple cross-functional teams and improve test automation.
