Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated Teacher in Hermiston, Oregon. You will lead, coach and mentor teachers, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.

You will partner with families, support center enrollment and accreditation goals, and build positive relationships with state authorities and community partners. Requirements include CDA or NAEYC candidacy, 2–3 years ECE experience, a Bachelor's degree preferred,

Qualifications

• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required or in progress.
• State trainer approval preferred.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must lift up to 40 pounds and be able to work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.

Skills

Outstanding customer service

CDA Credential / NAEYC candidacy

State trainer approved

ECE experience (2-3 years)

Bachelor’s degree in ECE (preferred)

CPR and First Aid

Physical ability to lift 40 pounds
