Job summary

YMCA of the Northern Sky is hiring Early Learning Center Teachers in Fargo, ND. You will foster development in infants to preschoolers, guiding their learning through math, science, art, and exploration.

Shifts Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 5:00pm. Requirements include 18+, HS diploma or GED, CDA, and 90-day CPR/First Aid/AED; 15 hours of basic childcare training within 90 days. Perks include YMCA membership and comprehensive leave benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CDA certification required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED within 90 days of hire.
• 15 hours basic childcare training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned group of children safely while planning a creative curriculum.
• Plan daily lessons and activities to develop gross and fine motor skills and social-emotional learning.
• Oversee Assistant Teacher, Classroom Assistant, and Learning Center Leaders in the classroom.
• Engage in positive staff-child and parent-teacher interactions and maintain communication with staff.
• Model professional behavior and uphold YMCA values.
