Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to lead and mentor in a classroom, delivering the curriculum and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will collaborate with parents and center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, while upholding high standards of care.

The role requires a CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, English proficiency, and readiness to meet state qualifications.

Qualifications

• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• Possess active CDA credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in alignment with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
