Child Development Schools is seeking a Lead Teacher to foster a classroom full of discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. You will guide children through meaningful experiences, acting as a trusted partner to families and a positive role model within a collaborative teaching team dedicated to high-quality early childhood education.

The day includes planning age-appropriate lessons, maintaining a safe, compliant classroom, observing progress, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass a background check.
• Complete 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire.
• A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Keep the classroom safe, organized, and compliant with licensing and ratio requirements.
• Observe and document each child's development and share progress with families.
