Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to support children’s early education with a strong focus on safety, development, and family partnership. You will mentor peers, implement the center’s curriculum, and foster a nurturing classroom environment that promotes inquiry and growth.

You will collaborate closely with families and staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals, ensuring high-quality care across the center.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAECY candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, speak English to communicate with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum aligned with each child’s needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning
• Partner with parents to foster the best care and education for their children
• Support center success; collaborate with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners
