Musicologie Wake Forest is launching an Early Childhood Music Class Instructor role in Wake Forest, NC, 2026. You will lead 40-minute classes for children aged 0-5 and accompanying adults, teaching notated songs with provided materials and guiding movement, singing, and play.

Ideal candidates are strong musicians who enjoy young learners and families, with flexible hours and room to grow into leadership or private instruction roles.

Qualifications

• Must be a strong musician with vocal ability.
• Experience or enthusiasm in early childhood teaching.
• Natural communicator with kids and parents.
• Reliable, warm, organized and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

• Lead 40 minute interactive music classes for ages 0-5 and their grown-ups.
• Learn and confidently teach notated songs each week using provided sheet music.
• Sing, move, dance, and play simple instruments.
• Create a warm, inclusive, and playful environment for every family.
• Support the program's vision of music for every child by building community.
