Job summary

KinderCare is seeking an experienced early childhood educator to lead and mentor teachers, implement the company’s curriculum with attention to each child’s needs, and create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.

You will collaborate with parents and center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and family engagement, while building positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners to help the center thrive.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; CDA/NAEYC candidacy encouraged.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds; indoor/outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum while adapting to each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child development and engage families.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
