Job summary

KinderCare in Henderson, NV is looking for a Lead Teacher who will mentor peers, implement child-centered curriculum, and create a safe, engaging learning environment. You will collaborate with families and center leadership to support enrollment and program quality.

The ideal candidate holds an active CDA credential or is pursuing NAEYC candidacy, with 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience and a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• State trainer certification is preferred.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations.
