Job summary

KinderCare in Eau Claire, WI seeks a lead teacher to guide and mentor a classroom team, implement our developmentally appropriate curriculum, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children. Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand and speak English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers; model behaviors and give feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum tailored to each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child care and education goals.
• Support center success with enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
