Job summary

Dryer Vent Superheroes of Boston is seeking a Lead Dryer Vent Technician to join our field team. You will install, clean, repair, and maintain dryer vent systems for residential and commercial clients, combining strong mechanical skills with HVAC knowledge.

You will diagnose issues and communicate clearly with clients, delivering excellent service and solutions. You should be comfortable working outdoors, independently, and managing multiple jobs, while ensuring safety and compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable using tools and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with dryer vent systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Physical ability to work in crawl spaces, roofs, and attics.
• Proficiency in navigating simple tablet-based technology.

Responsibilities

• Install, clean, repair, and maintain dryer vent systems.
• Conduct inspections of dryer vent systems to identify problems or issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with dryer vent systems.
• Recommend repairs or replacements to clients based on condition.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and answering questions.
• Maintain accurate records of all services and report issues to management.
• Adhere to safety regulations and protocols when working on dryer vent systems.
• Continuously improve knowledge by attending training sessions and staying up-to-date with industry standards.
• Comfortable rerouting dryer vent systems and making them up to code.
