Job summary

Davis Ice Cream Georgia in Georgia is hiring a Lead Driver/Utility Worker to support the Route Manager with daily sales and distribution of our pre-packaged ice cream. This hands-on leadership role covers routes from an off-site satellite location and maintains cold-chain standards while training staff and handling service issues.

As needed, you will personally cover deliveries when regular drivers are unavailable and help place or exchange equipment at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B with clean MVR.
• Must be 25 years or older.
• DOT physical and drug screen required.
• Knowledge of local routes and retail environments preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily delivery and sales routes.
• Support Route Manager with training and coaching.
• Maintain cold-chain and proper product handling.
• Deliver and exchange freezer equipment as needed.
• Build relationships with customers and ensure timely deliveries.
