Job summary

United Rentals is looking for a Lead Route Service Driver in Manassas, VA. You will lead and mentor a team of Route Service Drivers, safely operate the Route Service truck, and service portable restroom units at customer sites while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and logs.

Your duties include inspections, repairs, coordinating with Dispatch, and occasional weekend work. CDL is preferred; prior trucking experience is essential for this safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL is preferred but not required.
• Leadership and mentoring skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate Route Service truck daily and follow safety protocols.
• Vacuum, clean and sanitize portable restroom units on-site at customer locations.
• Stock/replenish towels, toilet paper, soap and refill water holding tanks.
• Repair portable restrooms onsite as needed and coordinate moves of equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck logs.
• Maintain professional appearance and housekeeping of vehicles and facilities.
• Train and mentor new/existing Route Service Drivers.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher for route optimization and logistics.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

This entails servicing, cleaning and stocking portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations and restroom-shower trailers as needed. You will complete daily routes, while maintaining professional customer contact and open lines of communication with Dispatch.
