Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Lead Driver to operate a straight truck delivering medical products to local customers on a daily route. You will motivate the transportation team, liaise with management, and ensure timely, accurate, and safe deliveries.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience with Class A CDL.
• Must meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.

Responsibilities

• Lead local transportation team, act as motivator and resource for drivers.
• Serve as liaison between local transportation team and management; communicate goals and escalate as needed.
• Load and secure product from Medline Facility into a truck and deliver to customer facilities.
• Safely operate Class A or B vehicle on delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow safety regulations, perform safety checks and wear PPE as required.
• Provide in-person support to customers and document delivery details.
• Coordinate with dispatch for route/schedule adjustments to meet customer needs.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs per regulations and company policy.
