Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Lead Dietary Aide to support nutrition services and dining operations for residents and guests. You will work under the Nutrition Services Manager to ensure accurate diets and meal service, and you may assist in short order cooking while adhering to menu guidelines.

You will collaborate with dietitians, managers, and chefs to deliver therapeutic meals and maintain compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in a food or healthcare setting.
• ServeSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within three months.

Responsibilities

• Foster an environment of hospitality for residents and guests under the Nutrition Services Manager.
• Ensure accuracy of diets and meal service in the absence of the manager.
• Collaborate with Dietitians, Managers, and Chefs to prepare foods for residents and to follow menu guidelines.
• Enforce policies and regulatory guidelines for safe food handling and sanitation; may perform short order cooking.
