Job Summary: This role involves utilizing your skills to support business goals, mentoring technicians, and collaborating with management on shop operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic issues
• Assisting in assigning tasks to technicians
• Participating in training and certification processes
• Ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency
• Providing technician development guidance
• Performing repairs as needed
• Updating customers on repair status

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work on trucks, including climbing and crawling under vehicles
• Experience with emissions systems and wiring
• Work safely and promote safety
• Mentor less experienced technicians
• Stand for long periods
• Use PC to update work orders and explain repairs
• Maintain quality work orders and checklists
• Communicate effectively about work status
• Report concerns to management
• Consistent and dependable results

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical and electrical experience
• Refrigeration experience a plus
• CDL B license or willingness to obtain, with assistance
• State Inspection License a plus
• ASE Certifications preferred, with a goal of full certification
